Why I built God of Startups
Every time I started a new project, I spent the first month writing strategy docs that nobody read — because they were already out of date by the time I finished.
I tried YC essays (great, but not mine). I tried HBS templates (great, but academic). I tried ChatGPT (generic). I tried Notion templates (empty boxes). I hired a consultant (expensive, slow).
What I wanted was a workspace where the strategy stayed alive as my product evolved — where changing direction didn't mean rewriting everything from scratch, where my risks, assumptions, and competitors were always one cross-link away.
